Gustavo
Sosa Pinilla
Gustavo Sosa Pinilla
is a photographer who has specialized in the shooting of architectural
works as well as works of art since 1985. Since 1994 he has been
the staff photographer for the Argentine architectural review
called “Revista Summa”.
Locally,
he works for Buenos Aires’ most important architectural
studios while his work abroad includes collaborations with important
architectural and interior decoration magazines and reviews, among
them Domus, Interni and Abitare of Milan, Italy.
His work in the field of architecture has been published in various
books among which are “Cathedrals of the New World”,
published by Editorial El Viso, Madrid, 2000 and “10 Houses:
Lacroze-Miguens-Prati, published by Rockport Publishers, Massachusetts,
1997.
In the field of photography of works of art, his principal collaborations
have been with the Buenos Aires Museum of Fine Arts, the Castagnino
Museum of Rosario, the Proa Foundation, as well as with various
editorials including numerous publications for the Velox Group
Publications and for Zurbaran Publications.
Other art books include “Josefina Robirosa”, Gaglianone
Editors, 1997, “Kemmeth Kemble”, 2000, and numerous
books for Zurbaran Publications in Buenos Aires. He also shoots
for numerous art galleries including Ruth Benzacar, David Maman,
Zurbaran and Praxis.
Gustavo
Sosa Pinilla lives and works mainly in Buenos Aires, Argentina,
but he also works on assignment for different publishers in the
neighbouring countries such as Uruguay, Brazil and Chile. His
assignements have required him to travel to Europe and the United
States, as well.
